The days of boring, rectangular bookcases are long gone! Because we are simply infatuated with all things book-related, it was no surprise that Flavorwire's 30 Gorgeous and Innovative Bookshelves article caught our literature-loving eyes. The designs range from "aww" to "oh wow!" and there was something listed for everyone. Find out which were our favorites and don't hesitate to comment with your own!

1. Lost in Sofa - Why buy a couch AND a bookshelf when you can buy a couch that IS a bookshelf? The Tokyo-based architecture company, Daisuke Motogi, designed an easy chair that plays on the common woe that is losing items to your couch. Spare change, cell phones, and books will now only be lost to your sofa on purpose.

2. TarGet Books - Style and organization meet in this bookshelf by Mebrure Oral, a Turkish design company. Separate your stacks into their appropriate sections: Has Been Read, Will be Read. Who needs a book list when you have one on your wall?

3. Stacked Teacups - C.S. Lewis once said, "You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me." In that case, he obviously never came across this next set of shelves! Made by WoodCurve, these oversized wooden teacups are the perfect spot to house all of your favorite books. They're available on Etsy so check them out for yourselves!
